Considering the oldest scientifically verified example of the Flower of Life is from 400AD, I don't place a whole lot of stock in what the original article says concerning the FoL's origins and the like. It sounds like typical conspiracy theory woo to me. Still, the geometry of the FoL is fascinating, especially considering the multitude of other symbols that can be drawn from it, such as Metatron's Cube.

I'm not very strong on my Egyptian associations, so you'll have to help me out as far as connections to Osiris go, though I understand he was very closely linked with the cycle of birth/death/rebirth. Given the sheer number of circles and their concentric patterns, I could see the circular nature of the BDR cycle being represent by a multitude of interlocking wheels.
