Egyptian vs. Renaissance

To drum up a little discussion here let me ask do y'all follow more the Egyptian traditions or the Renaissance traditions. It might be good too to outline all the major streams of the traditions since I don't belive they all come from the same sources. At least this will get us started again at reactivating the discussion.

    Definitely the Renaissance. Giordano Bruno and Marsillo Ficino brought the Hermetic Tradition back into the Western world. To me, these Hermetic saints made Egyptian Hellenistism's hermeticism more applicable and easier to follow for the modern Westerner.

    Just my two cents.
